IMAGES OF THE EARTH TAKEN FROM A SATELLITE
·       An unique collection of images of the Earth mainly provided by the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S.) and Partners of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing (A.E.T.)
·       Remote Sensing is a tool of territorial information. A scientist taught us how satellites observe the Earth crust, how they take the photographs, how the images taken from outer space are registered, visualized and interpreted. She also explained how the Remote Sensing technique needs to be integrated in the Management and conservation of natural resources.
·       It consisted of 90x90 cm. photographs which were explained to us by a scientist: their situation and the distance each picture was taken from.
·       The exhibition included 2 panels about what  Remote Sensing satellites are and their existing applications.
There was also a projection of an audiovisual presentation on Remote Sensing.
