         Who is under the blanket


Goal: focusing and strengthening social skills
Age Group: 4-8 years old
Material: Blanket

Description:

The students sit in a circle. One student is sent in another room and he “is it”. 

When the child that “is it” has left the room another child that is picked by the teacher enters the circle and is hidden under the blanket.

 The child who “is it” enters and the group of children sitting in the circle sing: “Who’s under the blanket, who’s under the blanket? Nobody can say, everybody has to stay” 







Then the child who “is it” has to try to figure out what child is missing from the group. When that is done the child who is hidden under the blanket “is it”.

"Fram fram fylking" is an old traditional Icelandic game. Two robbers try to arrest one person and ask the "prisoner" what would you rather like, an appel or an onange. The robber who gets more robbers is the winner.
The game ends with tug of war.
