On the 22 of November   the boys and girls from 5º went to a trip that was about the trees.
They told us how we can count the years of the trees:  If we cut a slice of a trunk of a tree, we can see some rings that are dark and others that are light. The dark ones are the years that rained a lot and the light ones are the years that didn´t rain much. They also asked us what we can find in a forest, in a mountain… They also told us about the different layers of the soil, about how the earth worms fertilize the soil producing a kind of compost. We also learned that earth worms can eat up to 8 kilos of soil in all their lives and how long they could be(about 15 centimetres long). Then they showed us the library where we could see many kinds of trees and also what they made with them; bowls and cups, arrows and bows...
I think it was very interesting and everybody enjoyed it a lot.
