The climate
The most important aspect in addition to the high rainfall (1,000 mm per year) is the absence of summer drought. In summer foggy days and storms are usual and provide the necessary moisture to the environment. Summers are mild and cool. Snowy winters last between 2 and 3 months. Temperatures vary between 14 degrees below zero and 23 degrees.
Tours
The yew
The yew is a poisonous tree which has a good wood to manufacture bowls and formerly yews were used to fight against the Romans. An infusion of yew was used to avoid suffering when men were crucified or beaten to death by the Romans. It was a very sweet death and let you sleep very easily.
The charcoal
The charcoal
The charcoal is done by placing sticks one on top of the other to make a sort of hunt. Then they put mud over the sticks to let the fire breathe inside.
