Hayedo de la Tejera Negra




Hayedo de la Tejera Negra is a natural park that is situated in the north of Guadalajara. It takes up 1641 hectares. There are two rivers in this park:  Lillas and Zarzas.


Climate:
Summers are warm but not hot and winters are cold. 

Flora:
Beech tree and pine tree form the forests of the park. Also we can see yew trees, holly trees and beeches.


                    In the forests there are not only trees, but also bushes. This area is famous for its mushrooms. People can pick them up only outside the park.
 Fauna:
Above the rocks sometimes appear eagles. At night turn up owls. Between the trees rarely we can see roe deer. There are also foxes, wild boars, badgers and weasels.

The height of rock crests that are in the park is between 1900 and 2000 m.
